Jack Johnson

Who is this amazing man?

Jack Hody Johnson has found himself appearing in many different creative fields (i.e. record producing, acting, surfer) but his presence is most well known within the music industry. He is both a musician and a songwriter and his music is prominently soft rock and acoustic work.

Jack grew up in Hawaii which most likely helped him to adapt this guitar and ukulele skills to such a high standard due to the large popularity of these instruments there. Jack's first album was named 'Brushfire Fairytales' which allowed him to achieve commercial success. A number of this albums since then have reached No 1 and has also been chosen to create soundtracks to accompany various movies (I would highly recommend his album 'Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies' which he made for the movie 'Curious George').

As well as his musical talents, Jack is well known for being an active supporter of environmentalism and sustainability which led him and his wife to create a charity dedicated to reducing and reusing waste. He even donated all of his earnings of his 'Sleep through the static' tour and also his 'To the Sea' tour to various charities he is involved in!

Personally, his songs have helped me relax when I'm stressed, his voice is like caramel. His most popular song is 'Better Together' which I recommend listening to if you are unsure of who he is (I've linked it below!).
